Each journey option listed on the travel assistant service details the following information: journey route (interchanges, mode of transport etc.), time the journey will take, calories burned, and CO2e emissions generated. One KPI is the percentage of audience members opting for sustainable journey options. The higher the proportion of visitors travelling by public transport/active travel the lower the total carbon footprint generated by visitor travel is. All data captured by the travel assistant service is available to clients on their Dashboard. Here they can find information including, transport model breakdown (modal split), carbon emissions, individual journeys routes, PII etc.
